Many cities have logged the news of water logging in many areas and especially our Capital New Delhi is facing such issues too. There is water logging in multiple low lying areas and now also the VIP areas have been blocked due to heavy rainfall. Most of the Hilly Areas like Kullu, Manali, Kasol, Narkhanda, Jibby, Chakrata and many other mountain places are adversly affected by Heavy Rainfall.
In the span of 24 hours, Delhi faces adverse rainfall of 153 mm which is leaving the city underwater as if there were lakes. It marks the highest rainfall in the month of July since the year 1982. The diplomatic enclave of Chanakyapuri and other posh colonies and VP houses witnessed a water logging and road block due to the heavy rainfall on Sunday and Monday.
Not just posh colonies, there is water logging in multiple residential areas leaving the general public helpless to commute to their office and home. Many Schools and colleges have declared a holiday on Monday 10th of July due to heavy rainfall in the part of Delhi NCR.
