Wajid Khan- The Duo of Sajid-Wajid broke due to Wajid Khan’s Death
The famous duo Sajid-Wajid’s Wajid Khan passes away at the age of 42 due to Corona Virus which led to Kidney issues. His brother Sajid Khan confirmed to us that he tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted at a Hospital in Chembur’s Surana Hospital, Mumbai for several days, and suffered from kidney and heart problems and had a weak immunity. He Tested Positive in the last week and expired today 1st June 2020 due to cardiac arrest.
Earlier he had got a Kidney transplant and recently he had developed another infection in the kidney. He was put on Ventilator for the last 4 days and his condition kept on getting critical.
His Magnificent Work:
Music Director by profession and is known to direct music especially for Salman Khan’s movies like “ Ek Tha Tiger’, “ Wanted”, “Dabangg”. Wajid worked with his brother Sajid in the duo and they were called Sajid-Wajid and not only he was a Music Director but also a Lyricist, Singer, and a Background score composer. He started his career with Salman Khan’s “ Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya” back in 1998 and also worked for many other movies like “ Hello Brother”, “Chori Chori”, ”Shaadi Karke Phhas Gaya”, ”Tumko Na Bhool Payenge”, ”Garv”, ”Tere Naam” and many more and has always done marvelous work.
Apart from Music Direction, he has written famous songs like “Hatta Sawan ki Ghata”, “ Fevicol Se”, “Baki sab First Class Hai”, “Le Le Mazza Le” He has also written and sung & Composed the IPL 4’s theme song “Dhoom Dhoom Dhoom Dharaka” and composed the title track of “Big Boss 4” and “Big Boss 6.
And coming to his voice, well it was some another level and he has sung many delightful tracks like “Tutak Tutak Tutiya”, “Hare k Friend Kamina Hota Hai”, “Fevicol Se”, “Chinta ta Chita Chita”, “Hamka Peni hai”,” Tera He Jalwa”, “Do you want a partner”,” Soni De Nakhre” e.t.c

Well, the Duo of brothers Sajid-Wajid has always embraced the people with their work and have won many awards and have got 8 awards for the movie Dabangg like,” Album of the Year for Dabangg at Mirchi Awards 2010”, “Music Composer of the Year at Mirchi Music Awards 2010”, “Film Fare Best Music Director for the Movie Dabangg in 2011”, “Best Music Director at Zee Cine Awards for Dabangg in 2011”, “Guild Award for Dabang in 2011”, “GiMA Award for Best Film-Dabangg, 2011”,” Star Screen Award for Best Music Direction for Dabangg in 2011”, “Zee Cine Awards for Best Track of the Year for Munni Badnaam Hui” and he has also won awards for movies like “Most Entertaining Music for Fevicol Se”, “Pride India Award for Music in 2016, “ Life Ok award for Best Album” and in 2018 Jio Filmfare award for Background Score for Daddy”.
Wajid Khan’s Early Life:
Wajid Khan was born on the 10th of July 1977 to a Tabla Player Ustaad Sharafat Ali Khan in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Brother Sajid Khan also used to Direct Music with him and their Duo was known as Sajid-Wajid. For the early years of his life, he was trained by his father itself. He was 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed 72 kgs. He did his graduation in Music and stayed in Andheri West in Mumbai. He got married in 2003 to Yashmin Khan and is blessed with a daughter and a son.

The Music Composer Wajid Khan’s Net Worth is 100-125 crores and he used to charge from 20 Lakh to 50 Lakh per song. He also judged the reality show “ Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” on Zee Tv.
