Mahindra eKUV100:
Mahindra firstly showcased eKUV100 at the 2018 Auto Expo, but the launch of the Vehicle was pushed to the 15th edition of the event held in March 2020. This car comes equipped with the 15.9 kWh battery pack with fast charging capabilities and it also offers a range of 147 kilometers stretch in a single charge. The electric motor on the car is good for 54 PS/120 Nm. This electric micro-SUV is equipped with connected car tech which provides great features like cabin pre-cooling, remote diagnostic, cabin pre-cooling, battery status updated through a dedicated app, remote door lock & Unlock and location tracking. This car was launched at the base price of Rs.8.25 Lakhs.

Hyundai Kona Electric:
Hyundai Kona Electric is known to be India’s First Fully Electric SUV Car and  it was launched last year in 9th July 2019. Kona Electric comes with 39.2 kWh battery which has an ARAI-certified range of 452 km. Hyundai Kona Electric provides a 7.2kWh AC wall charger that charges the battery upto100% in 6 hours 10 minutes. Hyundai Kona has comes with an electric motor that puts out 136 PS power and 395 Nm torque, and helps the car sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 9.7 seconds and its topmost speed limit is 155 kmph. Hyundai opened the retail price of the Kona Electric at Rs. 23.71 lakh.

Tata Nexon EV:
Tata Nexon EV is Tata’s first electronic SUV which is based on the Sub Compact SUV Nexon, and gets cosmetical changes over the ICE Car’s facelifted version, which was launched in India on 19th December, 2019. Tata Nexon EV is powered by a 30.2 kWh battery pack, which is paired with a129 PS/245 Nm electric motor. This car has claimed the range of 132 kilometers and its battery can be charged up to 80% via a DC fast charger in just one hour and if a 3.3 kW AC fast charger will be used then it will fully charge the battery in 8 hours. Tata currently retails the Nexon EV at a retail introductory price of 13.99 lakh and it also has the top versions.

MG ZS EV:
MG ZS EV is MG Motor’s second product in India after launching Hector and this electronic SV have been priced between Rs. 20.88 lakh to 23.58 lakh which makes it compete directly against Hyundai Kona Electric. It comes with a 44.5 kWh, liquid-cooled IP67-rated battery which has an ARAI claimed range of 340 Kilometers. The battery comes with a permanent magnet synchronous motor pushing out 143 hp and 353Nm torque to the front wheels via a single-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration is brisk, with the claimed 0-100Kphtime pegged at 8.5 seconds. Similar to Hector, MS ZS EV has been equipped with amazing features like power-adjustable driver’s seat, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry & go, automatic projector headlamps with LED DRLs, smartphone connectivity, a touch screen infotainment system with connected car tech, tire pressure monitoring system, an electronic parking brake, panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers and PM 2.5 filter in the Cabin.
