Actress Yami Gautam Expecting her First Kid
Yami Gautam Dhar is expecting her baby in June 2024. The Actress is 5 months pregnant. At the Article 370 trailer launch, Yami Gautam Dhar and the Film maker Aditya Dhar confirmed that they are expecting their 1st baby soon.
Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam got married 3 years ago on 4th June 2021. Now they are expecting their first baby, Yami Gautam is 5 1/2 months pregnant.
Yami Gautam’s Early Life and Background
Belonging to a Hindu Brahmin family from Bilaspur, Yami has grown up in a very rich Hindu Cultural house. Yami’s father Mukesh Gautam is a Punjabi Film Director and due to which, part of her childhood was in Chandigarh. Mukesh Gautam is also the Vice President of PTC Network.
During her childhood, Yami was great in studies and aspired to become a IAS (Indian Administrative Services). During her 20s she decided to pursue her passion for Acting. Therefore Yami Gautam became and Actress.
Apart from Acting, Yami has interest towards reading, listening music and Interior designing. Yami is currently also completing her part time graduation from Mumbai as she had left her Law college to start acting.
Yami’s Married Life
The Actress was rumored to be dating Pulkit Samrat however, both of them never agreed to the same.
At the time of shooting Uri, Yami met Aditya Dhar, this is the time where their love story began. In June 2021, the couple got married in a private ceremony. It was seen that Yami had worn her mother’s wedding saree.
Television Career Kickstart
Not only in Bollywood, Yami is a start on Indian Television as well. When she just moved to Mumbai during her 20s, she started off with Chand Ke Par Chalo in 2008. Then played a lead role in Raajkumar Aaryyan.
She was also the lead actress for a Colors TV show “Ye Pyaar Na Hoga Kam”. Apart from acting, she also participated in two reality shows Kitchen Champion Season 1 and Meethi Choori No 1.
Bollywood Spark of Yami Gautam
Yami made into films with a Kannada Movie Ullasa Utasha and when we talk about Bollywood, Yami started with “Vicky Donar” in 2012. Her role was loved by all and the movie was a massive hit. She then took a two year break, reason unknown. In 2014 she appeared in Total Siyappa.
Actress Yami Gautam then continued her Acting career with numerous films like Action Jackson, Badlapur, Sanam Re, Junooniyat, Kaabil, Sarkar 3, Batti Gul, Meter Chalu. In the Light, few of her films didn’t do that well and rest of them received mixed reviews.
The Actress started shining bright from “Uri, the Surgical Strike” and then she was just insurmountable. Giving hits one after the other like Bala, Ginny weds Sunny, Bhoot Police, A Thursday, Dasvi, Lost, OMG 2 and her next movie Article 370 is releasing this year.
Family Planning
Yami Gautam Dhar and Film maker and writer Aditya Dhar confirmed their family planning and they are expecting their baby during Article 370 trailer launch where they stated “There is a Baby On the Way”.
Now, Yami is ready to take a bigger role in her life, which is Motherhood. Both the parents, Aditya and Yami are happy and super excited to welcome the baby into their family.
Aditya shared that with everything in place, 3 years after the marriage, move coming up, Yami in it and the brother is also part of it. This was the perfect time to get this news of the baby coming in our life. He also shared that he feels complete and blessed.
Yami Gautam Dhar also shared her journey of shooting during her pregnancy when she was in her first trimester. She said to media that she could write thesis on her experience. She claimed that it was possible for her to balance everything because of Aditya being there for her.
