Diljit Dosanjh has come a long way since 2002 from giving us melodious songs to dance on , giving us the best movies and of course judging the singing talent shows. He is always known for his hardwork and his fan following.
In a recent interview, Diljit Dosanjh said that sometimes, he even end up spending more than he earns for a concert as he loves his fans so much. He is known to involve himself in all the preparation right from the band, the stage setup and everything.

He is the first Turban Sikh to be honored with a Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds. Diljit conquering his fan’s heart not only in India but abroad as well, He was the first Punjabi Artist to perform at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Early Life of Diljit Dosanjh
Born to a Sikh Family, Diljit Dosanjh’s father Balbir Singh is an ex employee of Punjab Roadways and his mother Sukhwinder Kaur is a home maker. Diljit Dosanjh has 2 siblings, one elder sister and one younger brother. Diljit spent his early young days in Dosanjh, Jalandhar District and then moved to Ludhiana where he graduated from Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School (Punjab State Education Board now affiliated to CBSE).
During his school days only, Diljit began doing Kirtan at the local gurudwaras and many devotees use to like the “Guru Ki Bani” sung by him. Currently Diljit’s Family also stays in Ludhiana.
Diljit Dosanjh was given a break by Rajinder Singh of Finetone Cassette, a division of T series. He was the one who suggested to change his name from Daljit to Diljit. From there Diljit was just unstoppable. We wish Diljit Dosanjh a Very Happy Birthday.
