New Covid-19 variant found in Kerala

The Kolkata State Health Department has stepped up its scrutiny againts covid-19 as there is a sub-variant of the Covid-19 virus found in a women in kerala.

All the states have been instructed by the health ministry to constantly vigil and be prepared.  State Health officials says that we are ready in case the need arises.

As the virus is found in Keral, neighbouring state, karnataka alerts all the elderly citizens to mask up at the public areas.

Director Health Services Siddhartha Niyogi said that “we are already keeping a watch and we are completely ready with the health insfrastructure”.

The Health Experts at Kolkata said that the new variant is unlikely to cause any severe infection.
