Born on 19th November 1975, a mother of 2 beautiful daughters and the winner of Miss Universe 1994 has done many dramatic, critical and more fabulous roles in her Bollywood career. She is known to be a very humble person in nature and loves to eat with her crew and team.
Early Life of our Miss Universe Sushmita Sen
Winning the title was not her only dream as a child but in fact she came back not registering her name for the Miss Universe Pageant knowing that Aishwarya Rai will also be participating.
She was then told by her mother (her supporting pillar) to believe in herself and give it a try, no one know then that Sushmita Sen’s mother’s advice will be a career changer for her and her determination won her that crown.She was the 1st Indian Women to win Miss Universe and also she was crowned Femina Miss India in the same year.
Born to a Bengali Family in Hyderabad. She always had her respect to Indian Values and Culture. Her father Subeer Sen, former Indian Airforce Wing Commander, due to her Air Force background she went to the Air Force golden Jubilee institute in New Delhi.
Sushmita’s mother was a Jewellery designer and an owner of a Dubai based store. Due to her background, Sushmita Sen built her interest in the fashion industry as well. She also attended St. Anns High School in Secunderabad and did not pursue her education after her High School.
Personal Life of Miss Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen has adopted two daughters and is not married. She is known to have Addison’s disease where she is supposed to take steroids throughout her life.
She had a rumor of dating rohan Shawl in 2018 , that relationship ended in 2021. She currently stays with her daughters in Mumbai.
The Bollywood Debut
In 1996 she started her bollywood career with the movie Dastak and then she moved to Tollywood in 1997. Later she came back to Bollywood with a blockbuster movie of David Dhawan named Biwi No. 1 which also got her a FilmFare Award and after her 1st Filmfare she was just unstoppable.
One of the finest actors of her times and also known to be the lady who doesn’t age after Rekha ji.
Being a Bengali, she did a Bengali drama in 2015 for the 1st time name Nirbhaak. Not just Bollywood, she has also been filmed into a Television series named Aarya also got her a 2021 critic choice award.
