Famous American Singer Toby Keith died of Stomach Cancer in Norman. He was 62 years old and was battling cancer since 2022.
Keith not only sang but was also an actor, song writer and a record producer. He started his career in 1993 with four albums named Toby Keith, Blue Moon, Boomtown and Dream Walkin.

Early Life of Toby
Born in Clinton, Oklahoma on 8th July 1961. His parents lived in Fort Smith where his grandparents also lived. His Grandmother owner a Supper Club named Billie Garner’s Supper Club in Fort Smith. This was the place where Toby became interested in Music. He switched multiple small jobs nearby and started playing in a band as well.
He got his first guitar at the age of 8. Not just music , he was also great and interested in sports. When his family moved to Moore, he was studying in Highland West Junior High and played in the football team too.
When he was 20, he first formed a band named Scott, Keith Cory, David and Danny Smith.
Death of the Singer
In the year 2022, Toby was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer. He went for Chemotherapy for 6 months and also underwent a surgery . On 5th Feb 2024, he passed away in his sleep. We all wish his soul rest in peace and god gives strength to the family to come out of the irreparable loss.
