Kedarnath – Helicopter Crashed in Garud Chatti, 7 People Died
Kedarnath- The Lord Shiva Temple has always experienced a footfall of the pilgrims of more than Lakh every year even when it is opened only for less than 6 months in a year.
Due to the high Altitude and bad weather conditions, there has always been many no. of accidents reported every year, even today there has been an accident reported at Kedarnath of a helicopter getting crashed to a hill due to low visibility and heavy rains.
The incident took place at 11:40 am on 18th October 2022, today between Garud Chatti and Lincholi when the Helicopter was getting the 6 pilgrims back from the temple.
The incident is known to be tragic as all the 7 people onboard died and the bodies are now being rescued.
The incident is very shocking and unacceptable but as it is said, can’t stop what is already written by the almighty. The 7 people onboard were The Pilot, Anil kumar along with 4 females and 2 males named Urvi, Kriti, Sujata, Purva Ramanuj, Kala and Prem Kumar. The unexpected incident has left the people shocked and speechless.
Narendra Modi and many other politicians and bollywood actors have tweeted about the saddened incident.
The helicopter belonged to a Delhi based Aviation company named Aryan Aviation Pvt. Ltd. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) were rescuing the bodies and their work was also hindered due to heavy rain but now the bodies have been recovered after 2 hours of the incident.
